The German Shepherd Dog is an incredibly versatile breed. They have occupied many roles: herding, protection, search and rescue, detection, sports, companionship, and more. Here at Wyohaus, our goal is to produce dogs who meet the German Shepherd Dog standard, thrive as family members, live long, healthy lives, and are suitable for a wide range of work or sporting venues. Our dogs are raised in our home with us and have excellent health, temperament, and conformation. All of our dogs are health-tested with passing orthopedics and breed-relevant genetic disease screenings, including DM. Our program is especially focused on improving the genetic diversity and health of the German Shepherd without sacrificing temperament and working ability.
